DESCRIPTION
Jesse had a dream. A dream to go on tour–even if it was little.
Even if he had to plan and coordinate it all on his own. But he wanted to get a band together to perform a bunch of songs from his Song A Day Project and do it electric. It would be his version of Dylan going electric. And when he meant “a bunch” he meant 22 songs–two of which ended up being new songs one each from his two forthcoming albums Nine Loves and CityMan to be released in 2012.
And so, he brought in Ben Martin, both a solo artist in his own right and also of Room For A Ghost, on drums instead of guitar and also singer songwriter John Peterson on bass instead of guitar. And those two guys learned their new instruments in fewer than 3 months and learned all 22 songs in fewer than 15 practices.
And the Jesse C. Dienner And Band Autumn 2011 Tour was born.
Kim & Angel agreed to open the shows and Josh Marcus willingly emceed.
